OKTABIT successfully entered the Greek IT field in 1992. It is focused on distribution offering carefully selected top quality products from world-class suppliers of computer peripherals to local dealers, VARs, distributors and retail chains.

Through cooperation with major international companies and continuous research of the Greek market has been established within a short period of time among the largest companies of the field.

OKTABIT achieved Excellence in Distribution, focusing on the highest level of customer satisfaction and long lasting cooperation with reliable vendors.
The company distributes among others: PCs, computer peripherals, servers, notebooks, multimedia, networking products, software, multimedia products etc.

OKTABIT considers the regional coverage of the customer needs among its highest priorities. Based on this, there are two operation centres, the central one in Athens responding to most areas in Greece and the branch office in Thessaloniki covering Northern Greece.

  • 1992 Establishment of OKTABIT
  • 1997 Expansion of operations in Northern Greece through the establishment of Thessaloniki branch office
  • 2000 Relocation of Athens premises to a building of 3000 m2
  • 2000 Commencement of VERO PC production line
  • 2002 Relocation of Thessaloniki premises to a building of 2500 m2
  • 2002 ISO 9001:2000 for its distribution model and PC production line
  • 2004 Strategic Agreement with AMD regarding direct distribution
